This is a 1/4" locktab with a number of applications;
1. You will need 18 of these if rebuilding a MkVI or R Type engine.
2. 3 are required on a Silver Cloud I and S1 for the front thrust plate for the camshaft and 6 for the blanking plugs on the crankshaft and crankshaft there are 6 locktabs for the blanking bolts..
3. On the V8 engine models there are two of these locktabs for the the two bolts that hold the distributor drive gear to the rear of the camshaft and tab the hydraulic lifter guide housing 4 are required.
